STATEMENT OF GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION POLICY
FOR USERS OF THE MUNSTER TENNIS HUB
OPERATED AND MANAGED UNDER LICENCE FROM FOTA ISLAND RESORT BY TENNIS IRELAND – MUNSTER BRANCH, T/A MUNSTER TENNIS

Opting In
Upon signup to use The Munster Tennis Hub as a continuous subscriber or casual user (for children’s tennis camps, adult residential courses etc), we will ask permission to obtain and use your data at the outset via an online application form. This can also be via paper application on leaflets, flyers etc.
Your permission to issue us your data, and for us to use your data in an agreed manner, will be obvious with a clear choice of opting in as “yes” or “no” featured on the online application form.
A reference, with relevant link, will be made to an online copy of this policy if and when we ever request to obtain, keep and use your data.
How We Use Your Data
We will use information that you provide to us to administer your use of The Munster Tennis Hub, to provide you with the services that you receive at The Munster Tennis Hub, to meet the purposes of performing our obligations to you, and for administration, risk assessment, health and safety responsibilities of The Tennis Hub.
For example, we will issue you with a unique loyalty card containing your name, photograph, and customer number. We will provide you with decorated clothing to the size you state on your application form. We will allocate court times to you via an online booking system which uses your data to identify you. These are examples only and not meant as an exhaustive and conclusive use of your data.
Your data will be recorded by Munster Tennis electronically, kept and processed on computer. We may disclose your data to tennis professionals and coaches operating at The Munster Tennis Hub and to other service providers to The Munster Tennis Hub for the purposes of customer registration for camps etc.
Through this notice we are letting you know what we intend doing with your information before collecting it, or you confirming it, so that you can decide whether or not to furnish that information to us.
You agree to keep Munster Tennis informed of any changes to the personal data that you provide and are entitled to write to the Administrator of Munster Tennis at admin@munstertennis.ie to request a copy of your personal data which Munster Tennis holds.
Should inaccuracies exist in your personal data held you are entitled to request that Munster Tennis amend or erase it.
Minors / Juniors
Where you have provided information about a minor person, aged under 18 years, you confirm that they have appointed you to act for them or that you are legally entitled to act for them, to consent to the processing of their personal data, and to receive, on their behalf, any data protection notices from The Munster Tennis Hub or Munster Tennis.
We will not communicate directly to any minor without written permission from their parent / guardian and will only do so for the purpose of good business practice i.e. postponement of a camp, change of times etc.
Website Data Collection
Munster Tennis collects information from visitors to their websites. Information is collected for the purpose of responding to visitors enquiries (such as name and contact details provided when requesting product information) or for general marketing activities (such as keeping you informed about events, tournaments or other news via a newsletter).
It will always be obvious when we collect this information and you will offer a “yes” or “no” answer to us asking for same.
Non-personal information is recorded by the standard operation of our servers. Such information may include; the name of the ISP from which you access the Internet, the Search Engine and keywords you used to locate this site, the date and time you accessed the site, the Internet address of the website from which you enter our site and where you go after you leave our site.
This information is used to measure and monitor the use of our site and to improve its content. Data which would personally identify you is known only when voluntarily submitted.
Personal data will not be released to third parties except where such disclosure is required by law.
If and when we collect personal data, you are given the option to opt in or opt out via a “yes” or “no” option.
On the occasion of your first visit to munstertennis.ie or tennishub.ie, you are informed of our cookie policy and you choose to click to close notification which signifies your acceptance to continue the use of our website under the terms given.
